Turn everyday spending into your next holiday escape with the new Marriott Bonvoy ADIB Visa Infinite and Signature cards. UAE residents can now earn Marriott Bonvoy points on qualifying everyday purchases, which can then be put towards hotel stays, room upgrades, dining experiences and more around the world.
If you sign up now, you can get 200,000 welcome bonus points, which takes you up to Marriott Bonvoy Elite status, allowing you to redeem points for even more value on your next holiday. You can use your points towards redeeming priority late checkout, enhanced room upgrades (subject to availability), airport lounge access, dining offers, and other premium travel and lifestyle privileges.
How the cards work
The cards have launched just in time for UAE residents to maximise their opportunity to collect points in time for the return of the holiday in December. Every dollar that is spent on domestic transactions translates to 1.5 Marriott Bonvoy points. For a dollar spent on international purchases, customers get 3 points in return.
These points can be exchanged for early check-ins, late check-outs, room upgrades and other special amenities that guarantee you a brilliant vacation.
The Marriott Bonvoy ADIB Visa Signature Card offers 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy points upon activation and Silver Elite status.
Sweetening the deal, the Marriott Bonvoy ADIB Visa Infinite Card comes with a limited-time opportunity to earn up to 200,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, as well as the chance to fast-track your membership from Gold Elite to Platinum Elite.
Both cards come with Marriott Bonvoy Elite status, giving cardholders access to exclusive perks for their travels.
The points aren’t limited to hotel stays, either. Marriott Bonvoy members can transfer points to more than 40 airline partners or use them for experiences through Marriott Bonvoy Moments, which offers access to a range of once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
For UAE residents who already spend on travel, dining, shopping and family essentials, the proposition is straightforward: turn qualifying everyday purchases into points that can be used towards future travel.
The cards bring together ADIB’s Sharia-compliant banking offering with Marriott Bonvoy’s global travel programme and Visa’s worldwide payment network, giving travellers another way to get more from the spending they’re already doing.
If your next holiday is already on the wishlist, this could be one way to make your everyday dirhams work towards it.
