Why is the Maine Democratic Party allowing the Troy Jackson campaign to sink?

Why are Jackson and the party succumbing to external pressure, reversing Jackson’s position on the Palestinian question (it is genocide in Gaza) and on universal healthcare? Polls have shown support for Palestine and universal healthcare are popular among voters.

Where is the passion, reason, commitment of the Troy Jackson of two months ago? Why has he been muzzled? Why is he standing down from issues Mainers care about? Instead of focusing on yard signs, we suggest the Jackson campaign let the current Collins story play itself out.

Jackson needs to focus on what will make Maine and the country a better place. There is little time left.
