Reported waterspout damages home's porch in the Florida Keys

A reported waterspout caused damage to a home’s porch in the Florida Keys on Wednesday.
The incident happened in the Silver Shores community between Tavernier and Rock Harbor.
According to the National Weather Service in Key West, a large enclosed porch was destroyed with a section of the porch’s roof deposited in a tree about 500 feet away.
A waterspout was observed by the public but the incident is being reviewed “for refinements in timing and intensity,” the NWS said.
