Astro Bot/Now live

We have already detailed all of this month’s new LEGO drops, but there is one very special PlayStation mascot GWP now available for purchase on its own – you can now score the near-perfect LEGO Astro Bot directly from the PlayStation Store without having to buy the entire LEGO PlayStation console set.

LEGO is debuting a new PlayStation 1 console build this month for $179.99 and it comes with an awesome brick-built Astro Bot Gift With Purchase – Astro Bot is FREE if you buy the PS1 set.

However, this Astro Bot build is also available on its own straight from the PlayStation Store for $24.99 without having to drop the $150+ on the LEGO shop – nice!

We suspect it could sell out quickly.

The LEGO Astro Bot (40899) – designed for builders “ages 18 and up” – is a 276-piece set, complete with cape and blue propulsion jets, alongside “a stand to display the character proudly on a bookshelf or desk.”  It has fully posable arms and head as well as swappable eye pieces, and you can now score it straight from direct.PlayStation without having to drop the cash down on the console re-creation.
