Long Point Road eastbound closes Sunday morning due to tidal flooding: Police

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) - Long Point Road eastbound was closed on Sunday morning due to tidal flooding, according to Mount Pleasant Police. Traffic heading toward Highway 17 from 526 on Long Point eastbound was being diverted at the Needlerush Pkwy traffic circle. Long Point Road has now reopened in all directions.
