Adapting the classic story from Belgian comic creator Hergé, Steven Spielberg’s THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN (2011) brings unbridled adventure to life in a globetrotting treasure hunt featuring one of the beloved boy journalist’s most iconic expeditions. In to Spielberg himself, the film featured the work of another recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award, composer John Williams – as well as cinematography from frequent Spielberg collaborators, including cinematographer Janusz Kamiński (AFI Class of 1987) and AFI Board of Trustees Chair Kathleen Kennedy as one of the film’s producers.
