UNITED NATIONS, September 26. /TASS/. Russia agreed to hold an unscheduled meeting with Germany’s top diplomat on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to confirm its readiness to listen to all counterparts without exception, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a news conference to sum up his participation in the High-level Week of the 81st session of the UNGA.

"We never refuse to listen to any counterparts, including those who blame all mortal sins on Russia. <…> We are always ready to lend an ear," the Russian foreign minister said, referring to his meeting earlier on Saturday with Johann Wadephul.
