Morris Network announces the appointment of René LaSpina as general manager of WDEF-TV, serving Chattanooga and the surrounding Tennessee Valley.

"Ms. LaSpina brings extensive television broadcasting experience and a strong record of leadership, with expertise in station operations, revenue development, news, community engagement and building successful teams," officials said. "In her new role, she will oversee all aspects of WDEF’s operations and lead the station’s continued efforts to strengthen its service to viewers, advertisers and the Chattanooga community."
