Submitting a work to CINEMODAE 2026 implies full acceptance of these regulations.
SUBMISSIONS, STAGES AND FEES
The CINEMODAE 2026 call for submissions will take place in three submission stages.
Fees vary according to the time at which each project is registered. CINEMODAE recommends submitting during the early stages of the call to access a preferential fee.
The submission fee covers the application, review, and evaluation process and does not guarantee selection, nomination, or an award.
STAGE 1 — OPENING CALL
Launch Fee: USD 5
The first stage corresponds to the official opening of the CINEMODAE 2026 call for submissions and will feature a special launch fee of USD 5 per submission.
During this stage, there will be two official submission channels:
Through Festhome.
Through the official form available at cinemodae.com.
Participants may choose either platform during the corresponding period of this stage.
Submissions received through either channel will be considered under the same curatorial and evaluation criteria.
STAGE 2 — REGULAR CALL
Regular Fee: USD 7
Once the launch stage has ended, the regular submission period will begin.
During this stage, the submission fee will be USD 7 per project/category.
Submissions during this stage must be made exclusively through the official form available at cinemodae.com.
Submissions through Festhome will only be available during the first stage of the call.
STAGE 3 — FINAL / LATE CALL

The final stage constitutes the last period for submitting projects to CINEMODAE 2026.
The submission fee during this period will be USD 10 per project/category.
Submissions must be made exclusively through the official form available at cinemodae.com.
Once the deadline established for this stage has passed, CINEMODAE may definitively close the call and will not be required to accept late submissions.
OFFICIAL SUBMISSION CHANNELS
To avoid confusion, only submissions received through the channels enabled by CINEMODAE for each stage will be considered official.
OPENING CALL — USD 5
Festhome or the official form at cinemodae.com.
REGULAR CALL — USD 7
Exclusively through cinemodae.com.
FINAL / LATE CALL — USD 10
Exclusively through cinemodae.com.
Submissions sent by email, social media, direct messages, file transfer services, or other means not officially established by the organization will not be considered valid.
SUBMISSION BY CATEGORY
Each submission corresponds to one work within a specific category.
If a participant wishes to submit the same work to more than one official category, they must complete the corresponding submission for each selected category and pay the applicable fee for each one.
For example, a fashion film that meets the requirements for CINE & FASHION and AVANT-GARDE may be submitted to both categories through two independent submissions.
Multiple submissions neither increase nor decrease a work's chances of selection. Each submission will be evaluated according to the criteria of its respective category.
SUBMISSION FEES
The official fees for CINEMODAE 2026 will be:
Opening Call: USD 5
Regular Call: USD 7
Final / Late Call: USD 10
When the submission is made through the official website, payment may be processed through the payment methods enabled by cinemodae.com.
When the submission is made through Festhome during the first stage, the payment conditions and mechanisms established by that platform will apply.
Any additional fees related to payment services, currency conversion, banks, or external platforms shall be the responsibility of the participant.
STUDENTS AND NEW TALENT
Participants applying to the NEW TALENT category may have access, when announced by CINEMODAE, to promotional fees, discount codes, or special calls intended for students and emerging creators.
When a student fee is requested, CINEMODAE may require documentation to verify the participant's current student status.
The availability of benefits or discounts will be subject to each submission period and will be officially communicated by the organization.
PAYMENT POLICY
Submission fees are intended to cover the processing and evaluation of entries.
For this reason, submission fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether the work is selected, nominated, or awarded.
A participant may voluntarily withdraw their work after submitting it; however, such withdrawal will not entitle them to a refund of the fee paid.
In exceptional circumstances directly attributable to the CINEMODAE organization, the festival may evaluate each case individually.
SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION
A submission will be considered complete only when:
1. The corresponding form or submission has been successfully submitted.
2. The applicable fee has been paid.
3. The work or viewing link is accessible to the selection committee.
4. The minimum requested project information has been provided.
5. The participant has accepted the CINEMODAE 2026 Terms & Conditions.
An incomplete submission may be considered ineligible if the outstanding information is not provided within the deadline requested by the organization.
FEE CHANGES BETWEEN STAGES
The applicable fee will be the one corresponding to the stage in effect at the time the submission and payment are effectively completed.
Starting a form during one stage does not guarantee the fee applicable to that period if the final payment and submission are completed later.
Once a stage has ended, the fee corresponding to the following submission period will automatically come into effect.
DeadlineS
The exact opening and closing dates for each period will be published through CINEMODAE's official channels and at cinemodae.com.
CINEMODAE reserves the right to exceptionally extend any submission period when the needs of the call for submissions so require.
Any extension will be announced exclusively through the festival's official channels.
