BMW M Team WRT scores dramatic maiden IMSA victory at IMS

The No. 24 BMW M Hybrid V8 driven by Sheldon van der Linde overtook Earl Bamber's No. 31 Cadillac Whelen V-Series.R for the lead with less than six minutes to go, locking in the win. It is the team's first victory in the series since WRT joined the program.
