Lewiston and Brunswick have staked themselves as the top teams in Class A North at the midway point of the season. They’ve also earned the top two spots in the Varsity Maine boys soccer poll.

The Blue Devils are ranked No. 1 for the second straight poll, while the Dragons are all alone in second after sharing the spot with Deering last week. Both teams bolstered their standings with wins over Edward Little, which is now ranked eighth.

Two teams join the rankings: John Bapst (sixth) and Fryeburg Academy (10th)

The Varsity Maine boys soccer poll is based on games played before Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
