Officers are searching for the wanted man

Police have launched an appeal to locate a 39-year-old man who is wanted on recall to prison and in connection with a high-value theft from a rugby club.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for information to help locate Andrew Holland, who is wanted on recall to prison.

"Holland, aged 39 and from the Wakefield area, is also wanted in connection with a high-value theft of cables from Wakefield Trinity RLFC, Doncaster Road, Wakefield, in July."

Anyone who has seen him or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101 or via the online Live Chat function, quoting reference 13260414489.

Information can also be given anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
