Trying to confirm item in basket

Im out of contract and put on a monthly rate.  If I go into the app they offered me a good rate to renew a 12 month contract. I clicked to add it to my basket but then it says confirm the changes to your minimum term but theres no confirm button or anything to press and it just says status information:  pending.  Ive waited ages and the pending doesn't change. I also tried on the website and got the same thing. I rang customer services but they said they can't complete thd transaction and the best she can offer is far higher . Can anyone help? . Please
