Ecommerce marketplace Snapdeal’s parent company AceVector has set a price band of Rs 30-32 per share for its upcoming initial public offering (IPO), valuing the company at Rs 1,741 crore (around $182 million) at the upper end of the range.

AceVector is raising Rs 287 crore in fresh capital through the IPO, while investors, including SoftBank, Nexus Venture Partners and Foxconn, are selling shares worth Rs 133 crore through the offer-for-sale component.

The $182 million valuation marks a dramatic decline from the peak valuation of Snapdeal, which was once among India’s largest ecommerce companies and was valued at $6.5 billion in 2016.

Japanese investor SoftBank, AceVector’s largest shareholder with a 30.1% stake, invested about $1 billion in Snapdeal between 2014 and 2015. It wrote off the investment in 2017 after merger talks between Snapdeal and rival Flipkart fell through.

As part of the IPO, SoftBank is selling shares worth Rs 88 crore, while retaining shares worth Rs 362 crore at the upper end of the price band.

Founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, who together hold around 34% of AceVector directly and through related entities, will not sell any shares in the IPO.

Snapdeal was moved under the AceVector umbrella in 2022. The parent company also houses ecommerce enablement software firm Unicommerce and house-of-brands company Stellaro Brands. Unicommerce went public in 2024 through a Rs 277-crore IPO.

In FY26, AceVector’s operating revenue grew 30% to Rs 510 crore, while its net loss narrowed to Rs 45 crore from Rs 126 crore in FY25.

Almost half of the IPO proceeds will be used for marketing and promotion of Snapdeal, as AceVector seeks to revive the ecommerce marketplace’s growth. Snapdeal was once a major rival to Flipkart but has since ceded significant ground in India’s ecommerce market.

AceVector had filed confidentially for the IPO in July 2025 and received approval from market regulator Sebi in November. It filed an updated draft prospectus in December.
