How does an AI productivity tool go from an idea to something people use every day? ACSSOU is excited to host a product manager from Tencent to walk through the design and development of WorkBuddy, an AI agent for everyday work tasks, as a case study: the user problems it set out to solve, the design decisions and trade-offs along the way, and lessons from building an AI product in practice. A moderated Q&A follows, covering product design, AI applications, user experience, and what working on AI products looks like day to day.
In the second half, participants can try the tool on their own laptops in a guided hands-on session. Light refreshments will be provided. The event is educational and non-commercial: nothing will be sold, no purchase or account is required to attend, and attendee information will not be shared with the company. Open to all Princeton graduate students; no prior experience with AI tools is needed.
