Las Vegas Raiders part-owner Tom Brady couldn’t hold back his dismay after quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered a gruesome-looking arm injury at the end of the first half of the Washington Commanders’ game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, accidentally swearing on the live broadcast.

Once the slow-motion replay was shown, both Brady, who was the color commentator for the FOX broadcast, and play-by-play commentator Kevin Burkhardt were clearly rattled in the booth while watching Daniels’ arm twist awkwardly into the turf, leading to be carted off the field with a towel over his head.

“Aw s—-,” Brady muttered in reaction to the injury. The seven-time Super Bowl champion immediately tried to correct himself following the remark, stating, “excuse me,” to the viewing audience.

Brady made his broadcasting debut as a color commentator in September 2024 after signing a 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX and has now been on the broadcast for more than 20 games across regular-season and postseason matchups.

Daniels was the second starting quarterback to suffer a serious injury Sunday after Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was removed from the Bears’ game against the Minnesota Vikings following a noncontact injury.

Daniels was replaced in the second half by backup quarterback Marcus Mariota.
