Experts say that 'NAZA' showed how Israel's AI target-generation system enabled violations of international law on a mass scale, even with human oversight

The "NAZA" documentary, which features interviews with Israeli soldiers who say artificial intelligence facilitated the mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza, has fueled fears over the threat of military AI. Its premiere at the Venice Film Festival last week coincided with new warnings by industry executives that the technology must be slowed down to save humanity, an overlap that was noted by critics.
