Black Theater Initiative: An Introduction to the Choreopoem with Chesney Snow

The choreopoem is an important form of dramatic expression that combines poetry, music, dance, and song. Lecturer in Theater Chesney Snow will lead students in a hands-on workshop, and no performance experience required to participate.The Black Theater Initiative engages students of all backgrounds with Black theater artists, practices, and innovations that shape the American theater.This is a David A. Gardner ’69 Magic Project funded by the Princeton Humanities Council.AdmissionThe event is free and open to all Princeton University students.
