The biggest night in TV is here, which means it’s time to watch the 2026 Emmys.

The 78th annual Emmy Awards take place Monday, September 14, and it’s set to be an intense face-off between the stars and creators of hit shows like The Pitt, Hacks, Pluribus, Widow’s Bay and Beef. Mariska Hargitay is hosting, so we’re betting it’ll be a fun watch!

The 2026 Emmys, which take place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, begin at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC and stream on Peacock, but you also have other options to watch the highly anticipated show.

The 2026 Emmys stream exclusively on Peacock, which doesn’t have a free trial. However, you can sign up for a free trial of DirecTV Stream and add Peacock to watch.

Peacock Premium currently costs $12.99 per month, while Premium Plus runs $19.99 per month. Both plans include access to the live Emmys telecast. The main difference is that Premium Plus removes ads from much of Peacock’s on-demand library, but commercials can still appear during live events.

The Emmys, which is airing on NBC, can also be accessed online through live-TV streaming services that carry their local NBC station. Options include Hulu + Live TV, Fubo and Sling TV. Fubo offers a three-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Availability of local NBC stations can vary by market.

DirecTV Stream offers a five-day free trial and starts at $89.99 per month after the trial ends. You can add the Movies Extra Pack + Peacock Premium during your free trial to watch the 2026 Emmys. You will be billed for your subscription and the add-on at the end of the free trial if you don’t cancel before then.

Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus are available starting from $12.99/month and lets you stream live sports and events airing on NBC, plus shows and movies, including the 2026 Emmys.
