Zzoomm, one of the UK’s fastest-growing full fibre broadband providers, today announced the launch of Zzoomm TV – a next-generation TV and entertainment service powered by Netgem’s PLEIO platform. This marks a major strategic milestone for Zzoomm, transforming its proposition from a high-performance full fibre provider into a compelling ‘triple-play’ alternative to legacy providers.
As full-fibre availability accelerates across the UK, homes and business can now access far more digital content through more reliable and enhanced broadband services. Zzoomm is helping consumers to access this through the launch of a compelling new TV proposition.
With the launch of Zzoomm TV, the company now takes a decisive step forward, combining ultrafast full fibre broadband, TV and Cloud Gaming through one single interface. This gives customers total control over what they watch and pay for as cost-of-living pressures continue.
This expansion strengthens Zzoomm’s ability to increase customer adoption, drive long-term loyalty and compete directly with incumbent providers.
Entertainment Without Limits
Zzoomm TV is designed to remove the traditional barriers associated with pay-TV: no satellite dish, no aerial and no complex installation.
The service is delivered entirely over WiFi via a compact 4K streaming puck that plugs into any HDMI-enabled screen, enabling customers to easily move it between rooms or even take it on holiday.
Zzoomm’s network is 100% full fibre, delivering consistently symmetrical high speeds and reliability without reliance on legacy copper infrastructure. This ensures superior performance for all households, particularly those streaming, gaming and connecting across multiple devices simultaneously and using Zzoomm TV.
Powered by Netgem PLEIO: Watch. Stream. Play.
Zzoomm’s TV service is delivered in partnership with Netgem, leveraging its PLEIO platform, a broadband-firstentertainment hub built for the streaming era.
PLEIO integrates live TV, streaming services and cloud gaming into a single, fully IP- based experience, eliminating the complexity and cost of traditional broadcast infrastructure while enabling rapid innovation and scalability.
Zzoomm will be the latest large UK ISP to launch with Netgem PLEIO, underlining its ambition to lead the market in next-generation digital services.
Rewarding Loyalty with Exclusive Early Access
Zzoomm TV will first launch exclusively to existing Zzoomm broadband customers. As a Zzoomm broadband customer, they won’t pay the full standard price of £10 a month as they’ll receive a 25% loyalty discount.
Zzoomm customers who pre-register will also benefit from an early bird launch incentive. Customers who sign up at launch will pay just £5 a month for the first 6 months, before moving to the discounted loyalty price of £7.50 a month. To join the waitlist customers can visit https://zzoomm.com/tv-pre-registration.
Francesca Lee, Chief Revenue Officer at Zzoomm, said:
“Households are under more pressure than ever, and customers deserve greater choice, flexibility and value for money. Zzoomm TV brings together live TV, streaming and gaming in one place without forcing customers to pay for what they don’t need. Combined with our full fibre network, Zzoomm TV is another step forward in delivering our brand values: better products, better service, and better value, challenging the status quo of both broadband and now traditional pay-TV.”
Sylvain Thevenot, Managing Director, Netgem UK, added:
“Full fibre has changed what consumers expect from their broadband provider. TV and entertainment are now essential parts of the proposition, not afterthoughts. PLEIO was built precisely to meet that need, and Zzoomm’s launch is a clear sign of where the Altnet Fibre market is heading.”
