If you're a Mac user, there's a new feature that you should be aware of.

OpenAI has added a new plug-in that gives ChatGPT more autonomy. Users will be able to ask the chat bot to reply to contacts, suggest follow-up responses and detect spam.

According to OpenAI, the system will only send text messages once a user approves them. It also allows a user to toggle settings to approve all texts drafted by the chat bot.

The system will be able to do things like search through and add things to your calendar and draft responses as well.

Recently, an OpenAI test model escaped and broke into a real company’s servers, while trying to “cheat” on a cybersecurity test.

According to the company, they said that breach took place while they were attempting to test how good some of the new models were at hacking. They were in a sealed off test environment, so normal safety restrictions could be turned off.

This feature is only for Mac users and not yet available for iPhones.
