Collins and Friends will perform on Friday, and The Last of the Duke Street Kings on Saturday.
Two concerts are set for this weekend at Cadenza in Freeport.
Cadenza regulars Collins and Friends will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.
Father and daughter act Dave and Crista play a mix of modern and classic blues, jazz, and Americana. They have been playing music together since Crista was a toddler in the 1980s. Their repertoire includes Susan Tedeschi, Keb’ Mo’, Etta James, Van Morrison and everything in between.
Collins and Friends is Dave Collins as vocals and guitars; Crista Collins Koerber as vocals and percussion; Bill Danylik as guitars; Chuck Prinn as drums and percussion; and Richard Corovessis as bass.
On Saturday, Aug. 8, The Last of the Duke Street Kings are returning from Canada with a tribute to Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band at 7 p.m.
The Last of the Duke Street Kings is no simple cover band! They stage authentic reproductions of live concert performances and studio releases by the original group. From the first album to the latest projects, they offer a selection of Boss songs unreleased except in anthology and left off the set lists of other Springsteen tributes. An eight-piece group with occasional extras, every E Street member is represented in the Dukes, including varied instruments like violin and other instrumentation when needed.

Tickets for each show are $30 at cadenzafreeport.com and at $35 at the door. Cadenza is located at 5 Depot St. in Freeport.
