Utilimarc has launched SmartReplace, a workflow tool designed to help fleet managers evaluate vehicle replacement priorities using existing fleet data.

The application is intended to support replacement planning by analyzing information such as vehicle age, mileage, condition, maintenance history, and utilization.

Rather than requiring fleets to create new data sources, SmartReplace uses information already maintained in fleet inventory, maintenance, utilization, and work order records. Users can configure replacement criteria based on operational priorities and available budgets.

The platform guides users through data validation and planning before generating replacement recommendations. It also allows fleet managers to compare different replacement scenarios as budgets or operational requirements change.

According to Utilimarc, each recommendation includes documentation explaining the factors behind the replacement decision, allowing fleet managers to review and adjust plans before finalizing them. SmartReplace is available through the company's fleet intelligence platform.
