Timex has recently added two Peanuts x Expedition Acadia references at $119 each — they are the cheapest entries to its Snoopy range. The TW2Y84600 has a green dial and the TW2Y84700 cream, both in 40 mm resin cases with silicone straps and 50 m water resistance.
The Peanuts x Timex Expedition Acadia TW2Y84600 and TW2Y84700.Timex has recently added two Peanuts x Expedition Acadia references at $119 each — they are the cheapest entries to its Snoopy range. The TW2Y84600 has a green dial and the TW2Y84700 cream, both in 40 mm resin cases with silicone straps and 50 m water resistance.
At $119, the two recent Peanuts x Timex Expedition Acadia references are the cheapest way into Timex's Snoopy collaboration. The rest of the lineup is priced from $189 to $229. Here, you're saving money on the case, which is resin instead of steel. We couldn't pinpoint an exact launch date for these collab watches; however, we're near certain that they were listed in the past couple of weeks (first half of August).
The TW2Y84600 features a green dial with an olive strap and a yellow seconds hand. On the other hand, the TW2Y84700 uses a cream dial with a navy strap and blue printing throughout. Hardware is otherwise completely identical.
Both dials come with artwork of Snoopy in Beagle Scout uniform. We see Woodstock and a line of birds trailing behind him against a mountain backdrop. The Beagle Scouts first showed up in Peanuts in 1974, and Timex has used the theme before as well — an older Acadia collaboration celebrated the troop's 50th anniversary on a fabric strap.
The dial layout is quite familiar, as one would expect from an Expedition model. Full Arabic numerals are present to mark hours with a 24-hour scale printed inside them, a triangular marker is visible at 12, and a date window at three o'clock. Luminous fill coats the hands and markers. The 50-meter rating is printed above six.
The case is 40 mm of lightweight resin with a moulded crown guard. The resin keeps the weight low, alongside the price. The strap is grooved silicone with quick-release spring bars: it comes off without any tools. Additionally, the watches run on a battery-powered quartz analog movement.
Timex and Peanuts have been collaborators for decades. A separate Peanuts Expedition Scout has also launched at $129 — that one uses cardinal direction markers instead of the Beagle Scouts artwork.
Both Acadia references are now listed on Timex's US and EU stores.

Most of my time goes into writing - and somehow it hasn’t stopped being fun yet. My work mainly revolves around everyday tech, gaming, watches, DIY modding, and the occasional piece on tech-policy chaos when companies and governments clash. I try to keep things simple and honest, without sounding like a product brochure. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and an Associate Degree in English Studies from the College of New Caledonia in British Columbia, Canada. Away from articles and deadlines, life usually shifts to making music, taking photos, or trying to finish games that should have been completed months ago.
