The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro could soon be launched in Europe as well. The Huawei Watch GT 7 (Pro) and the latest MatePads and MateBooks could launch internationally in just a few weeks, as Huawei is hosting a global launch event where "innovative products" are set to be unveiled as early as the beginning of September.
In the teaser image embedded below, Huawei invites attendees to a global launch event taking place on September 2, 2026, in Munich, Germany. Aside from the date and the slogan "Chase the Wild," Huawei has not yet confirmed any details about which products will be unveiled at this event. However, the timing and the slogan suggest that this event will serve as the global launch for the Huawei Watch GT 7 and the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro.
Huawei’s latest smartwatches have not received any significant hardware upgrades compared to the Huawei Watch GT 6 (approx. 175 euros on Amazon) and the Watch GT 6 Pro. The watches are primarily expected to feature software updates, such as enhanced ski and cycling modes. Huawei consistently uses a round AMOLED display and a battery that is said to last up to 21 days, though battery life drops to seven days when the always-on display is enabled. The ECG feature and the higher-quality titanium and ceramic case are exclusive to the Pro model, but all variants offer GPS, NFC, a skin temperature sensor, speakers, and microphones.
Aside from the Huawei Watch GT 7 (Pro), the launch event could also mark the global launch of the upgraded MateBook Fold with a Kirin X90 Plus ARM processor, as well as the MateBook Pro S. The latter is particularly exciting for frequent travelers, as the laptop weighs just 798 grams but still offers a high-resolution 14.2-inch OLED display in a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 54 Wh battery, though the HiSilicon Kirin XE90 does represent a compromise in performance.
