Acer has finally released one of its latest 16-inch laptops. Particularly lightweight at 1.19 kg, the new Swift Edge 16 also contains a 120 Hz OLED display, a 65 Wh battery and a choice of Intel Panther Lake processors up to a 16-core variant.
Specifically, Acer pairs the new Swift Edge 16 with the Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 355 or the Core Ultra 9 386H. According to our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 9 386H is by far the most powerful of the three. However, Intel equips these processors with the same 4-core Xe3 iGPU.
Moreover, the new 16-inch laptop features a 65 Wh battery and a 120 Hz OLED display resolving at 1800p with 340 nits peak brightness. Pricing starts at HKD 10,998 (~$1,401) in Hong Kong with 16 GB of RAM and a Core Ultra 5 325 but rises to HKD 11,998 (~$1,529) and HKD 12,998 (~$1,656) for the Core Ultra 7 355 and 16 GB of RAM or Core Ultra 5 325 and 32 GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, Acer charges AED 8,546 (~$2,302) in the UAE for a variant with a Core Ultra 9 386H processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Please note, this price includes 5% VAT. In comparison, the new Swift Edge 126 has reached the US for $1,549 with a Core Ultra 9 386H, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD.
