CMF has revealed the name and launch date for its next product. The announcement comes alongside a new teaser for the audio product which we presumed would arrive as the CMF Buds 3.
According to a post on X, the new product will arrive as the Buds Neo and not the third generation CMF Buds. The Nothing sub-brand has also revealed that the new pair of earbuds will be announced on the 20th of August.
The announcement includes a teaser video that shows the earbuds will be available in three colors at launch. In addition to the silver version with orange eartips that was first revealed, the earbuds will also be available in blue and black colors.
The video shows that all three color options will ship in a case with a smart dial, which is sort of a signature feature for CMF earbuds. It appears the color of the dial will match the color of the eartips considering the silver version with orange eartips has an orange dial. This means the blue version will have cyan eartips while the black version will have black eartips.
While we do not know where the Buds Neo are positioned under CMF's line of earbuds, there's a possibility they might not be as expensive as the Buds Pro 2 (currently available on Amazon for $39), which are currently CMF's most expensive earbuds. Thankfully, we won't have to wait too long before the announcement.
It is worth mentioning that the CMF Buds Neo will be available in India when the launch. This info comes from Akis Evangelidis, the co-founder of Nothing.
