The wide candy-bar smartphone has been rumored for a while, and now it is finally real: Huawei has opened reservations for its Pura X View on Vmall. The wide-aspect, flat-bodied phone pairs a 6.39-inch 15.5:9 display with a resolution of 2,232 × 1,320 and a 7,000 mAh battery in a body weighing 201 g and measuring 6.68 mm thick. The listing shows the four available colors: Phantom Night Black, Zero Degree White, Leaping Shadow Red, and Linen Grey, across 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, and 12 GB + 1 TB configurations.

Design-wise, the Pura X View is reminiscent of the Pura X Max, Huawei's wide foldable, with its ribbed rear texture and similar pill-shaped triple-camera housing, although the housing is positioned differently. And it omits the outer cover screen and folding hinge entirely. It is a fixed, single-body, wide-format phone rather than a book-style foldable.

The display panel is rated for a peak brightness of 6,500 nits at 1% APL, with 2,160 Hz PWM dimming and a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio. It is framed by 1.05 mm bezels that Huawei describes as equal on all four sides. The battery has a typical capacity of 7,000 mAh (6,815 mAh rated).

Pricing, chipset details, and other specifications are not yet available. The Vmall configurator currently returns a "no quote available" message for every color and storage combination.
