Teclast recently introduced the ArtPad, and now, the company has launched the affordable tablet in China. There's only one configuration, and it's retailing for around CNY 1,099, around $163.
While the global pricing details haven't been confirmed yet, it's expected to go for about $200 in the international market. As for the tablet itself, for those who missed our last coverage, the 13.2-inch display is one of the main highlights of the Teclast ArtPad.
This is an IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1600x2240 pixels resolution. Although the fast nature of the screen is a plus, users will be able to take advantage of it for playing games, as this affordable tablet is powered by the Unisoc T7300. This is an entry-level SoC that offers a similar level of performance as the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 in benchmarks.
It's paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the good part is that there's a microSD slot, which can be equipped with up to a 2TB memory card (Lexar 1TB Blue curr. $179.99 on Amazon). This makes the tablet ideal for media consumption, and there's a relatively large battery for multi-hour entertainment sessions.
Specifically, the tablet has a 10,000mAh battery, which is a plus, but there's support for 18W fast charging. That means it will take a good while for it to go from 0% to 100% charge.
Other than that, the tablet has a stereo-speaker setup, a relatively thin and lightweight design, WiFi 6, 4G support, and the screen has support for 4096 levels of pressure-sensitive handwriting. Check out the spec sheet attached below to learn more about the Teclast ArtPad.
