What do you expect will be the big topics/trends this year?
AI, AI and more AI – but not just as a buzzword. We expect a real focus on practical AI applications in media workflows, from automated tagging to speeding up post production. Cloud collaboration and remote workflows will also stay front and center, especially as teams look for smarter ways to work together globally. And of course, camera-to-cloud and virtual production will continue to evolve, changing the way content is created and delivered.

What trends have you been seeing over the past year relating to your section of the industry?
The shift to fully cloud-based workflows is no longer just experimental; it’s becoming the standard. Creative teams aren’t just working remotely; they’re working in real time, from anywhere. We’re also seeing a demand for integrated, frictionless ecosystems. People don’t want to jump between tools or wait for massive files to sync. Security is another big one. Companies need fast, flexible cloud storage that doesn’t compromise on data protection.
What’s the most exciting thing being developed right now that people might not realize is worth discovering?
Most people still think working from the cloud means slow, clunky and limited. We’re proving the opposite. LucidLink lets teams edit from the cloud as if the files were on their local machine – no downloads, no waiting. It’s a total game-changer for distributed teams. In terms of game-changing tech, keep your eyes peeled on the LucidLink stand. In addition to our new production release, you might get a sneak peak of an industry-first: a game-changing piece of tech created with some of biggest names in creative software.
Other than what you are showing, what are you excited to check out?
I’m definitely keeping an eye on virtual production, AI-assisted editing and cloud-native VFX workflows. The way teams are using real-time rendering and LED volumes is getting more sophisticated, and we’re excited to see how that integrates with cloud-based post.
How can people book time with you at NAB?
