Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, on Devine Street across from Food Basics.

The dog is described as a medium-to-large sized dog resembling a Cane Corso breed, brown in colour with black markings, and was being walked by a male owner with brown hair and baseball cap who appeared to be in his 20s or 30s.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
