ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Bills will host the "Return of the Blue & Red" practice at Highmark Stadium on Saturday, the first public event at the new stadium.

The practice will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, and the Erie County Sheriff's Office has released road closures, traffic patterns, and additional information related to the event.

The sheriff's office said Abbott Road, immediately adjacent to the stadium, will close to traffic at 1 p.m. and remain closed until after the practice.

All stadium lots will open at 3 p.m. The sheriff's office said drivers should not park on the shoulder of the roadways for pedestrian safety. Accessible parking lots Blue ADA and White ADA, which are in the same location as 2025 but have been renamed, are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking can be purchased on the day of the event. The team said parking spaces in Bills lots will be extremely limited, and proceeds will go to the Bills Foundation.

Security gates will open at 4 p.m., and ticket entries will open at 5 p.m.

The sheriff's office said it is recommended that guests review Highmark Stadium maps to locate the proper location to park and gate to enter. In addition, all fans should familiarize themselves with the list of prohibited items at Highmark Stadium to avoid delays at the gates.

According to the sheriff's office, intoxicated and unmanageable guests will not be permitted entry into the stadium.

Before the end of practice, around 8:30 p.m., the sheriff's office said Route 20A from Fieldhouse Drive to Rte. 219 will convert to two-lane, one-way traffic headed east away from the stadium. In addition, Route 20A from Abbott Road to Southwestern Boulevard will convert to two-lane, oneway traffic headed west away from the stadium.

The team said there will be a 15-minute fireworks show held post-practice as fans are leaving the stadium. The show is best viewed outside the stadium on the east side of the building.
