Celeste Barber doesn't shy away from parodying supermodels and Hollywood stars.

And on Friday, the 39-year-old comedian poked fun at the notoriously bad Christmas commercial by Victoria's Secret in 2012.

The advert featured the brand's models Doutzen Kroes, Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Miranda Kerr.

The women dressed in festive lingerie and attempted to sing Deck the Halls while decorating a Christmas tree - despite being out of tune and singing the wrong lyrics.

In her parody, which she posted to Instagram on Friday morning, Celeste wore a black leotard with a red tulle skirt and Christmas hat.

She jokingly sang the carol out of tune before pretending to take a sip out of her wine glass and stumbling over.

'What the seventh circle of hell might sound like at Christmas,' she captioned it.

Her video received plenty of reaction, including from the models who starred in the commercial.

Doutzen commented with a laughing emoji and a heart, while Lily wrote 'Yesssssssss' adding three wine glass emojis. 

It comes after Celeste shared her excitement at landing the lead role in the upcoming Netflix dramedy series Wellmania.

She will also serve as executive producer for the eight-episode series, inspired by Brigid Delaney's novel Wellmania: Misadventures in the Search for Wellness. 

'I've never really thought that things would never happen to me again but at the same time I never thought they would,' she told The Daily Telegraph.

'I've always just kind of kept it going. And do what I want to do is work in film and television,' she added.

'I'm so excited to be acting and to be back on set.'

She added in a statement: 'I'm so excited about this project, the whole team is awesome. We've been working on it for a while and I've been busting to tell everyone about it.

'I'm drawn to projects that centre around interesting, dynamic and complex lead female characters and that's exactly what is.

'I'm stoked to be working with Netflix and tell this Australian story to an international audience, and to also be an executive producer so I can boss people around.'

The series is slated to be released on Netflix in 2022.
