Abbie Chatfield has made an impassioned plea to her fans to donate to Indigenous charities in the wake of The Voice referendum being defeated on Saturday.

The reality TV star, 28, posted to Instagram on Wednesday and told fans she wanted to rally support for Indigenous causes over the next few days.

'In light of the Referendum being defeated, my stories for the next few days are going to focus on some charities that help First Nations people in Australia,' she began.

'I'll give you a summary of what they do and why and provide a link. If you can't donate, share and reflect on why these charities even need to exist.

She then posted information about several Indigenous charities to her Stories, including Djirra, Children's Ground and Coota Girls.

'If you have any suggestions for other charities that help First Nations people, please DM me and I will share,' she added.

Abbie's appeal comes after Australia voted No to the Indigenous Voice to Parliament - with every single state rejecting the proposal and only the ACT voting Yes.

And celebrities who voted Yes have shared their devastation online, with many posting to social media to decry the decision.

The reality TV star, 28, posted to Instagram on Wednesday

Abbie led the sad posts, writing: 'Heartbreaking. Unfortunately I'm not shocked. Australia has shown its true colours.

'Sending love to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Worried for the fallout of this.'

Meanwhile actress Magda Szubanski, 62, took to social media on Saturday shortly after the referendum was called to post a heartbreaking message of support to First Nations people.

Chatfield then posted information about several Indigenous charities to her Stories, including Djirra, Children's Ground and Coota Girls

'I'm so deeply saddened this has been the result. To all our beautiful First Nations people… My heart goes out to you tonight I wish this had been different,' she began.

'Please know that there are millions of us who love and treasure and support you, that we hear your Voice and we will continue to walk with you.'

ABC election guru Antony Green first called Tasmania for the No camp shortly after 7pm AEST, followed by New South Wales about 7.15pm and South Australia about 7.25pm.

Australia voted 60-40 in favour of No to the Indigenous Voice to Parliament on Saturday - with every single state rejecting the proposal and only the ACT voting Yes.
