Preparatory action: European Partnership on Sports
To prepare for future EU actions in this field, on the basis of the Sport Chapter of the proposed Union Programme for Education, Youth and Sport for 2014-20 'Erasmus for All', this call for proposals supports transnational projects put forward by public bodies or not-for-profit organisations in order to identify and test suitable networks and good practices in the field of sport.
In particular, it covers: promotion of physical activity supporting active ageing; awareness raising about effective ways of promoting sport at municiplal level; trans-frontier joint grassroots sport competitions in neighbouring regions and Member States; and the fight against match-fixing.
Deadline for applications: 31 July 2012

MEDIA 2007 is the EU support programme for the European audiovisual industry, supporting the development and distribution of films as well as training activities.
Distribution – sales agent scheme: Supports European companies engaged in the theatrical distribution of films.

Culture, tourism and sport – Culture programme 2007-2013

The programme promotes transnational mobility of people working in the cultural sector and to promote intercultural dialogue. Open calls within the programme are:
Strand 1.1 – Multi-annual cooperation projects
Funds groups of cultural organisations to develop joint cultural activities over a period of three to five years. Projects will involve a minimum of six cultural operators from at least six eligible countries. EU co-financing rate is 50 per cent and the maximum funding per project is €500,000 per year.
Deadline: 3 October 2012
Strand 1.2.1 – Cooperation measures
Funds shorter and smaller-scale joint projects involving cultural organisations from at least three European countries. Funds projects lasting up to two years, involving at least three different European countries.
Deadline: 3 October 2012
Strand 1.3.6 – Support to European cultural festivals
Funding to festivals that support the circulation of cultural works from other European countries. The grant only funds the European-related activity and is limited to 60 per cent of eligible costs, to a maximum of €100,000.

CALYPSO Social Tourism programme
The CALYPSO programme supports actions to promote low-season social tourism exchanges by certain target groups. This call will support public authorities to promote participation in the CALYPSO programme, as well as to carry out networking and studies.
