She's a fashion icon and ambassador for Chanel, oozing classic French glamour as she poses in the upmarket brand's elegant designs. But few fashionistas would recognise Lily-Rose Depp on set today.
These exclusive pictures reveal that the star – the daughter of Johnny Depp and French actress Vanessa Paradis – was looking altogether more drab in costume for her role in new medieval horror Werwulf.
Wearing a shapeless brown smock and burgundy headscarf, the actress – who also appeared to have a slight facial defect for the role – is pictured for the first time on the specially-built set in a Surrey beauty spot.
The film is set in a remote village in 13th-century England which is stalked by a mysterious creature. Producers had the village built from scratch in Bourne Wood, near Farnham, and photographs from the set show a series of thatched properties huddled by a forest, compete with a church and graveyard.
Depp, 26, filmed scenes in the mud-filled cemetery, dotted with simple wooden crosses, and others which involved holding a baby wrapped in swaddling cloth.
Werwulf is being made by Robert Eggers, who also directed Lily-Rose in her last film, Nosferatu, which was nominated for four Oscars. Eggers has also brought back her Nosferatu co-star Willem Dafoe for his latest project, with the actor seen in medieval costume riding a horse.
Werwulf also stars 28 Years Later's Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Further scenes for the film are being shot on Dartmoor, where medieval-style buildings and farmsteads have been erected.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star warned Lily-Rose against becoming an actress because of the downside of fame, and said: 'Sometimes kids say to me: "I want to be an actor, what's your advice?" And I say: "Don't be!" I know what's coming for them.'
Lily-Rose was in a two-year relationship with actor Timothee Chalamet, and has been dating rapper 070 Shake, real name Danielle Balbuena, since early 2023.
