They insisted they were 'just friends' when asked about romance rumours on Friday.

But just a day earlier, Married At First Sight stars Tamara Joy and Ivan Sarakula looked incredibly cosy during an outing on the Gold Coast - cuddling up on the beach before riding a jet ski at Mariner's Cove. 

Tamara, 29, stripped down to a giraffe-print bikini for the fun day out with her pal, which took place on Thursday afternoon at Jet Ski Safaris. 

The sexy string number was barely able to contain her ample assets as she soaked up the ever-blazing Queensland rays. 

Prior to stripping off by the sea, Tamara had teamed her look with a short denim skirt which emphasised her long, tanned pins.

She let her luscious long locks gently cascade down her back, and lightly brush against her sensational waistline.

Ivan, meanwhile, opted for a casual-chic look in the form of a T-shirt, shorts and white trainers.

The 31-year-old whisked his newly-grown locks into a bun on his head and sported a pair of sunglasses to shield his eyes from the sun.

Prior to getting on the jet ski, the pair posed in the sun wearing their swimwear - with Ivan showing off his washboard abs and toned arms in the process.

Ever the gentleman, he was quick to help Tamara button up her life jacket for the water activities, before the duo hopped on a jet ski for a day of adrenaline-pumping fun.

Despite the cosy snaps, both Tamara and Ivan revealed to Daily Mail Australia on Friday that they were 'just friends' - with no wiggle room for anything romantic in future.

He has been in the sunshine state spending time with his former co-stars, including Tamara and Hayley Vernon.

In recent months, Ivan has drastically changed his appearance by growing out his hair and hitting the gym to enhance his muscles. 

He was partnered with fellow real estate agent Aleks Markovic on Married At First Sight earlier last year, but they are no longer together.

Meanwhile, Tamara rose to fame on the sixth season of the show, and 'tied the knot' with Dan Webb - who continued on the show with new flame Jessika Power.

The pair's short-lived romance failed to last away from the show.
