Troubled boxing star Ryan Garcia showed off his fast hands to former US president Donald Trump before endorsing his 'friend' ahead of this year's election.

In a clip posted on Garcia's social media on Friday night, the 25-year-old shadow boxed in front of a smiling Trump and a small crowd - at what appears to be the 77-year-old's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

'Donald Trump 2024!' Garcia then shouted. Alongside the video, he added a caption which read: 'TRUMP IS MY FRIEND'

Both Garcia and Trump have had a turbulent few weeks, with the former president on trial in New York - not far from where Garcia enjoyed the finest win of his career.

Despite a chaotic and concerning build-up, when the 25-year-old suffered a very public meltdown, Garcia handed Devin Haney a first defeat in a huge upset.

The 25-year-old claimed that Trump would be at the fight, even tagging the former president in his social media post.

'He's coming. He's right here in Harlem,' Garcia insisted. But there was no sign of Trump at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, despite him being in New York City all week for the start of his hush money criminal trial. 

But they are seen together in this video, when someone shouts 'let's see what you got, fast hands' before Garcia throws dozens of uppercuts in a few seconds. It is not clear when the video was filmed.

In the first ever criminal trial of a former US President, the 77-year-old presumptive Republican nominee faces 34 charges of falsifying business records.

Prosecutors allege records were falsified to hide a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels to stop her discussing an alleged affair before the 2016 election.

For much of the past few months, meanwhile, Garcia has been in the headlines for his antics outside the ring. Before beating Haney, he divorced the mother of his newborn son and then proposed to Australian porn star Savannah Bond.

Since his victory, however, Garcia has been surrounded by other women. He was pictured hand-in-hand with TikTok star Grace Boor in Miami.

That came shortly after he was seen getting close to influencer Alexa Dellanos. She has 9m followers on Instagram and is the daughter of American TV host and journalist Myrka Dellanos. 

Then, in another Instagram video, Garcia was lounging around with a mystery woman, who is sporting a diamond ring that is supposedly valued at $1.5million dollars.
