Two-weight world champion Devin Haney has revealed why he will not feature in the new boxing video game 'Undisputed'.
Haney became undisputed lightweight champion by beating Australia's George Kambosos Jr in June 2022, and he went on to defend his titles against Kambosos Jr in a rematch and then Vasiliy Lomachenko.
He is the youngest-ever undisputed champion of the four-belt era, and would have been expected to be involved in the new video game that includes fighters at the elite level of the sport and is due to be released in October, but he has confirmed he won't be and has now explained why.
'I had talked to them (the makers) a long time ago about putting me on the cover, it was some different people on the cover and I wanted to be on the cover, and they just didn't want to do it so I just opted to be out of the game,' he told AKHi TV.
When asked if he would change his mind if he is put on the cover of the game, Haney responded: '100 per cent. I would love to be in the game.

'Since a young kid, I've always dreamed to be in a video game. I was the youngest undisputed of all time, so it's only right for me to be on the cover. I want to be one of the faces of Undisputed.'
After ruling the lightweight division, Haney moved up to super-lightweight last year and won the WBC title in a dominant performance against fellow American Regis Prograis.
However, he suffered his first professional loss in controversial fashion against Ryan Garcia last month.

Garcia has since tested positive for a banned substance, and Haney has called for the result to be changed to a no-contest
After months of concerning behaviour in the build-up, Garcia missed weight by over three pounds, but the fight still went ahead.
Garcia was a heavy underdog heading into the ring, but defied the odds to drop Haney three times on his way to a majority decision victory.
But he tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine in the aftermath of the fight, leading to Haney calling for his loss to be changed to an 'immediate no-contest'.
For now, the result stands, and Garcia has maintained his innocence while sending off for his B Sample to be tested. The result of this is due to be revealed later this month.
