De Pere police are on the lookout for a vehicle that is, frankly, impossible to miss — unless you’ve somehow managed to avoid Disney movies, NASCAR, or bright red objects moving at questionable speeds.

Wisconsin authorities say they’d really like to chat with the driver of a red C6 Corvette convertible fully decked out in Lightning McQueen livery — yes, that Lightning McQueen, complete with the iconic #95, yellow lightning bolt, and enough stickers to qualify as a rolling Pixar tribute.

Witnesses spotted the car around Optimist Park, S. Erie Street, Virginia Drive, and Bomier Street around 8:49 p.m. on May 24, presumably shouting “KA CHOW!” as it zipped by. Police did not confirm the “Ka Chow,” but honestly, it feels implied.

Police have not said why they want to speak with the driver — which only makes the situation funnier. Maybe Lightning McQueen rolled through a stop sign. Maybe he refused to yield to Chick Hicks. Maybe someone reported “excessive Pixar enthusiasm.” The investigation continues.
