– Nabel Asefaw, Sierra Vista: The senior captain scored a first-half goal and the Mountain Lions made it count by holding off Faith Lutheran 1-0.

– Danny Barrera, Liberty: The junior scored the game-winning goal with five minutes remaining, and also had two assists to help the Patriots rally for a 3-2 win over Canyon Springs.

– Carlos Bautista, Equipo Academy: The sophomore scored three goals to lead the Yeti past Founders Academy 8-1.

— Evan Cruz, Arbor View: The sophomore scored the game-winner with 10 minutes remaining to lead the Aggies past Eldorado 2-1.

– Monti Parada, Cimarron-Memorial: The freshman scored two goals as the Spartans rolled to a 7-1 victory over Valley.
