I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia star Brittany Hockley shocked her fans this week by naming the rudest celebrity she ever encountered.

The podcast host, 36, made the surprising admission on her Life Uncut show, revealing it to be her IAC co-star Denise Drysdale, who she said ruffled people's feathers in the South African jungle.

'It wasn't just Khanh Ong [fighting] with Denise, it was everyone and Denise. She was really hard, very short and blunt,' Brittany began.

'Often very rude, she didn't want to be there. I would hope she didn't realise she was being rude, but surely she had to know?'

Brittany then added that Denise's advanced age may have played a part in her being short with her much younger co-stars.

'She's 75 and that was a really hard environment for anyone, let alone at that age. I was looking at the challenges we had, Denise never could have done them.' 

Hockley's shock claims follow reports that Drysdale was feuding with IAC host Julia Morris, 56, on the set of the show. 

Earlier this month, a theory emerged about why Denise Drysdale was quickly eliminated from IAC after just a few short days in the jungle. 

An insider claimed producers were relieved to see Denise voted off the show amid claims there was tension on set with Morris.

'They (production) were on tenterhooks with those two big personalities. There is a lot of pressure on the current new look season to not court any negative headlines like series gone by,' an insider claimed to Woman's Day.

'It was a personality clash from day one and the crew would feel really uncomfortable each week as they tried to out-do each other.' 

They added that Denise tried to take on a mentoring role for Julia, who was not receptive to it. 

'Denise reportedly felt she could be a big sister figure to Julia. However, Julia was determined to run her own race,' the insider claimed.

Drysdale has since refuted claims she was involved in a feud with Julia and called it 'total bullc**p'.

Upon elimination, the Studio 10 star bid her fellow celebrities a bittersweet goodbye, before telling hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin she was glad to be out of the jungle for good.
