Tennis star Paula Badosa strangely revealed she had a sex dream about fellow tennis star - and boyfriend - Stefanos Tsitsipas.

In a press conference at Wimbledon, the Spanish player offered up, unpromoted, the story of how she had a racy dream about the Greek tennis ace earlier this year in Australia.

Badosa, who has been publicly dating Tsitsipas since the French Open, got a fit of the giggles, at least maintaining to stop short of going into key details of her dream. 

'Yeah, well, I was injured in Australia. I watched his match, the final. Of course I had jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match,' she said.

'Surprising, because I never dream about tennis players, but I dreamt about him that night, that we were both winning Australian Open. Then it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I'm not going to explain. I'm just going to leave it there. (Laughter).'

The pair's relationship quickly gained momentum in Paris when Badosa was seen in the crowd at the French Open to watch the world No 5.

The couple, who will play mixed doubles together on Friday at Wimbledon against Jessica Pegula and Austin Krajicek, are madly in love and Tsitsipas recently labelled the Spanish beauty as his 'soulmate'. 

'I feel happy and content,' Tsitsipas told Eurosport recently.

'I haven't really felt that type of connection with anyone before. I don't mean to sound cringe or anything because that's the reality and that's what I am faced with. 

'I am extremely blessed and happy that this came at this phase of my life.

'I get to do what I love and I get to do it with someone who completely understands me and gets it. I have been very interested in her mind more than anything else.

'Of course there is attraction but it's also sometimes just a soul interaction and getting to fall in love with her mind. It's very rare that these things happen.'

The pair also have an Instagram account together - tsitsidosa - where they share cute snaps on their travels.
