Lloyds is reportedly set to close more bank branches, with 95 sites set to shut their doors over the next year.

The high street bank closures are expected to affect its Lloyds and Bank of Scotland brands between May 2026 and March 2027.

Under the plans, 53 Lloyds, 31 Halifax and 11 Bank of Scotland sites will shut, leaving 610 branches open by next year, according to PA.

Shutting shop: Lloyds is reportedly closing another 95 sites over the next year

Lloyds is in the middle of another round of closures, which will see 49 sites shut by October, after announcing 136 closures around a year ago.

It is the latest bank to unveil branch closures, following Santander's recent announcement it would shutter 44 more sites by the end of January 2027.

Last month, This Is Money also revealed 32 further NatWest locations will close over the next year.

A spokesman for Lloyds told PA: 'Customers want the freedom to bank in the way that works for them and we offer more choice and ways to manage money than ever before.

'From our leading apps and 24/7 messaging service to local banking options like our community bankers, PayPoint and access to all of our Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches, we're giving our customers the flexibility to bank wherever and whenever they need us.'

Between January, 2015, and December, 2024, 6,609 branches closed, figures shared with This is Money by consumer watchdog Which? show.

The closures come after Lloyds reported a 12 per cent increase in pre-tax profits to £6.66billion for 2025.
