Collection of some of my favorite bluesy songs from that fun & optimistic mid-century era. They call it blues. They call it boogie. This is the early rock-n-roll sound, from which all rock music emerged. This playlist is intended to honor some of the great American artists, people of color who, without much credit, started the rock-n-roll sound.
