It appears that YouTube’s ‘Felipe’ is currently working on a co-op mod for the first classic Metal Gear Solid game. And although there is no ETA for when it will come out, we have a trailer for it. So, if you are a die-hard MGS fan, you should definitely check it out.

In this trailer, we get to see two players working together in some areas. We also get to see the Ocelot fight, in which both players can inflict damage to him.

This is a cool mod that you might want to use to have some fun with your friends. It will obviously make the game easier, and it’s a cool way to re-experience the classic MGS. However, since it uses a top-down camera, it may be difficult for the second player to control his character.

As I said, we don’t know when the mod will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to share its download link once it becomes available.

Speaking of Metal Gear Solid, you can download a cool mod that lets you play as Grey Fox in third-person mode. This is an experimental mod, meaning that it only supports VR missions. At least for now. The ultimate goal is to turn this into a mod for the single-player campaign.

You can also download this fan remake of MGS in Unreal Engine 5. Created by a single dev, this demo includes a tutorial level, two levels from the original game, and all the boss fights from it. Since it’s a fan project, though, you should temper your expectations. It’s cool, but it’s nowhere close to what an official remake could look like.
