“These projects have increased the need for additional support projects such as large-scale workforce housing developments and hotels. While local contractors may not be performing the data center construction, they are building the roads and infrastructure to the sites as well as numerous smaller commercial projects,” he adds.

“Our region’s strengths include an aggressive Economic Development Group (Cheyenne LEADS) with large expanses of land available and suited for development, paired with inexpensive energy options and a business-friendly government body at the city, county and state level.”  

The Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association recently said it will move its headquarters from Colorado Springs to Cheyenne and build a large campus with offices, rodeo arena, hall of fame and a possible convention center, with completion by 2029.
