Students from several north Missouri FFA chapters have been selected to receive the American FFA Degree, the highest individual honor offered by the FFA organization.

Earning the American FFA Degree requires recipients to have previously earned a State FFA Degree and completed three years of active FFA membership. Candidates also must demonstrate an outstanding Supervised Agricultural Experience, leadership, and scholastic achievement.

Recipients are required to complete at least 540 hours of secondary instruction through an agricultural education program. They also must complete 360 hours of postsecondary agricultural education plus one year of postsecondary agricultural education.

Candidates selected for the American FFA Degree submitted applications to the National FFA Organization after receiving approval at the state level. Qualified candidates were then approved by the National FFA Board of Directors.

Recipients are scheduled to be recognized on stage Oct. 24 during the National FFA Convention and Expo.

  • Gallatin: Magnum Fenimore, Kaylen Sterneker, Ethan Willams, and Lyndsey King.
  • Gilman City: Shelby Gibson, Ethan Elder, Hayley Jennings, Kelsey Sperry, Colbi Webb, and Landon Preston.
  • Grundy County: Adysan Rains.
  • Jamesport: Keaton Norman, Callie Skinner, Cale Turner, Emma Henderson, Tori Dunks, and Tori Dustman.
  • Maysville: Dillon Willis, Brock Windham, Gavin Kennedy, Kolby Meek, and Kasen Reeder.

  • North Daviess: Kenneth Browning.
