We would like to highlight the participation of Chloë Salles and Julien Deschamps, from the UNESCO Chair in International Communication at the University of Grenoble Alpes, as well as Kenneth Grattan, holder of the UNESCO Chair in Information and Communication Engineering at City University of London, in the first Global Dialogue on the Governance of Artificial Intelligence, held in Geneva on July 6 and 7.
In preparation for this event, a research team from the University of Grenoble Alpes also contributed to drafting recommendations submitted to UNESCO by our network.
Bringing together representatives from more than 170 countries, this first dialogue addressed several major issues related to the governance of artificial intelligence, including infrastructure development, interoperability, risk management, inclusion, human rights, and the environmental impacts of AI.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our members for their dedication and valuable contributions to these international discussions, which are helping to shape the future of artificial intelligence governance.
