Water main ruptures in Philly leading to 50 homes without water Wednesday

Water was sent gushing into a Philadelphia street on Wednesday after a water main broke, according to the Philadelphia Water Department.
Crews were called to the intersection of Tulip Street and Princeton Avenue in the Tacony neighborhood on Aug. 12 to repair a rupture to a 12 inch main, officials said.
As of 9:30 p.m., officials explained that there are about 50 homes without water due to the ongoing work.
